Tobacco

I have two of these. One has engraved "Utah Carter Radio Products" on it. The other does not. Both are art deco style cylinders, made of brass or copper with silver like tops. Tops have spindles and inside holes to ventilate the cigarettes. Bottom is a silver and black round base. Purchased at a garage sale. Owner said they are Art Deco. Fill with cigarettes for people to take, placed on coffee table or around the room. About 7" high, 2-1/2"diameter, base is 4". Thanks.

Authentic Art Deco cigarette boxes sell for $8-12 on Ebay. Smoking accessories have lost popularity lately but I expect them to recover as items get harder to find.

I want to buy a cigarette holder for my friend. Something like the 1940s film stars would have used! Apart from ebay, any idea where I might buy one? Ideally a long black one. Thanks!

Couple internet sites you can try, I will give you the links, but you can also look at local smoke or costume shops. My wife has 3 different holders, and she looks fabulous!

black burn stain around the lip of an ivory cigarette holder. Any idea how I can shift it?

You could try a baking soda and water mix, it cleans up porcelain, but this depends on how bad the burn is.

I love the whole burlesque style and old glamour that dita von teese manages to embody. Any ideas on what I could wear for that kind of look for halloween? I have a long accessories such as a long cigarette holder and 20s black finger wave wig but what should I wear?
