I went to unplug my FM transmitter from my cigarette lighter yesterday and the unit, cigarette lighter and transmitter came out and now I cant put it back in, any idea how to insert the cigarette lighter case back into the dash?

if u tried forcing it and can't don't force it..take it to a accessories shop and get them done wont cost u much.. And u don't wanna spoil and brake the clips..

They are one of the lighter cigarettes on the market, although I am told this makes no difference as to their toxicity.

The lighter I'm using right now is pink although my friend just recently bought me a copper coloured Zippo with a skull on it.

I have a cigarette case. It's silver. I don't use it very often, but sometimes for special occasions when a cigarette pack would look tacky.

i was wiring up my cb radio so i can quick connect/disconnect it by soldering the leads to a cigarette lighter connector. after testing it, i found i blew the radio's fuse. I was wondering if the polarity was the wrong way. the black (-) was at the button in the center, and the red (+) was onb the side spring

Yep you had it backwards. Red is the hot lead going to the center, and black is ground to case.

or, because its only two wires- if someone could tell me which goes where, and how to open the casing I could do it myselfperhaps. It doesnt seem like rocket science

Well I'd personaly would not try it myself, yes you may know what you are doing but should you do it yourself and make a mistake aside from causing more problems with your car you will void the warrenty on your car. It is best to bring it to the dealership and let them work on it. Should they make a mistake they have to correct it and you still covered under warrenty.
Now that is if your Civic is new.
