just been searching for places in aus that sell both tube filling machine and tubes for making cigarettes, can't seem to find any that sell both would rather purchase from same shop. can't find tubes anywhere.

everytime i use mine (its made by zig-zag) it does'nt fill the end of the tube so i have to pack tobacco in the by hand so the the rest of the tobacco does'nt fall out. Does anyone else have this problem or am I doing something wrong? The injector is the find you raise the lid fill it but tube on nozzel close and slide back and forward

I have the same Zig Zag cigarette injector, and it took me a while to get the hang of it. Try making sure the tobacco slot is completely filled and packed down very firmly before attempting to assemble a cigarette. Once I started paying attention to how much tobacco was at each end, my problems ended. Hope this helps.

I remember as a kid helping my adult cousin make his own cigarettes from a Laredo kit, which had the tobacco in a tin, paper tubes with filter ends and the plug-type filters with cigarette packs for the finished product to go into.

I recall many times watching TV with my cousin while making cigarettes with his ingenious machine, and the interesting conversations we would have during these earlier times.

The Laredo machine was an ingenious system as it was simple, quick and easy to use, and I've gotten to wondering what size of cigarette tube (that is the part you fill with tobacco which has the plug filter and tobacco inserted into it) was filled?

Back in those years (1970's) I doubt there was much variety in sizes like are available today, but I really don't remember these sorts of details from so long ago. (I'm pretty sure the machine could only handle one size tube)

Does anybody recall the length and width (diameter) of paper tubes the Laredo cigarette machines filled?

They were the 'King Sized' cigarettes. The 'regular' were the ones with NO filter, and 'King Sized' were slightly longer because of the filters. You can still get 'tubes' with filters, and a 'machine' to make the cigarettes, but I don't think you can get a 'pack' to put them in ... and the cigarettes are still 'King Sized, unless you ask for '100s' ... and then I don't know how you 'fill' that extra space ... maybe it's just that the filter is longer, or maybe they sell a 'longer' machine ... and all tubes have the same 'diameter' ... it's the same as a 'tailor made' (storebought packs) cigarette is today... the 'regular' ones, not the 'extra thins.'
AND THAT is me knowing FAR TOO MUCH about smoking, because I am TRYING TO QUIT.

My stepdaughter came over and she left a tube type cigarette, It felt like it was made of clay. It was painted like a cigarette white and the top of it was painted like a filter, but u could see through it. At the bottom it was dark as if u smoked out of it, and smelled like smoke and scorched at the bottom. What is this used for? We are gonna asked her about it, but we need to know what you smoke out of it and used for. Sorry if i put under wrong category

yeah he uses it many times. but the first time i saw him do it i had to ask and see if i could find one.

I recently started smoking unfiltered cigarettes again, but I need to holder so that I can smoke the whole thing. I am just looking for the little tube (maybe three inches long or so). I used to have a plastic one, but I lost it. Does anyone know where I can buy a cheap replacement? None of the cigarette stores around me have them.

PS: By "cigarette holder", I do not mean a box to hold my cigarettes. I mean a little tube that you stick your unfiltered cigarette into so you do not burn yourself on it when it burns to the end.
