I am looking to buy my boyfriend, an avid cigar smoker a cigar case or travel humidor, for when he travels on short trips. Can anyone recommend a good case or travel humidor. Thanks

I just bought a leather cigar case and It has been 2 weeks but the leather smell is still there. Anyone have a good way to get rid of those stinky leather smell.
How to remove those chemical smell from the leather? Anyone can help?

Use the case! keep it in your pocket. carry it around with medium priced cigars.

You either see it doesn't effect them , or with time it will lose the new case smell.

I hope it's not a cheap piece of leather!

I'm looking for a relatively small (say 4 inches by 2 by 1) case to carry cigarillos or cigarettes in my leather jacket. They don't need to hold more than two or three. All the case needs to do is protect its contents from dampness or crushing. Any recommendations?

I used to collect these cases and found that by far the best source for good examples is a car-boot sale or local open market with antiques stalls. Once, I managed to pick up a leather-clad brass 11-cigarette case from the 1940s for £3 in Greenwich!

Buying a cigarette case brand new will be difficult and expensive as smoking is not really the height of high-street fashion at the moment, so grab an antique one (they tend to show a bit of class too).

I had one a long time ago and it has a great smell. I just remember that it had an aluminum cigar shape case with Ben Franklin on it and the Cologne bottle was brown and looked like a cigar. I just want to know the name of the brand if anyone knows what I am talking about. I'm guessing that they are rare or to me they are because I can never find them.

well, i know of the 'Cuba Sparkling Zebra', but that's a woman's scent.
actually, all of the 'Cuba' scents are really good.
let me do a little research and see if i can't find this for you.

Not much more than what you paid for it. But one key item - if you haven't stored it in a humidor, then it's worthless because it's dried out.

You can bring it back to life however, by putting it in a humidor and waiting about a week for moisture levels to increase.
