complete eticet in cigar smoking
You dont need to take the label off at all. If you want to remove it, you can do it at the beginning or when the cigar is burning close to the label.
When lighting ht cigar, you dont actually put the flame on it, or you will burn it and can give it a weird taste. Place the flame (matches are better, but other lighters are fine) about half an inch below the end of the cigar, and draw in with your mouth. Don't suck, just pull in with your cheeks. Take a puff or two as you please, every 30second to 2 minutes. You dont need to ash the cigar a lot, let the ash build up to an inch or inch and a half, then tap it off. The cigar will burn slower and cooler with the ash still on.
Also, always use a cutter on your cigars to cut off the tip. Never use a knife or scissors, or you'll mess up the cigar wrapping.
Good Luck, and Enjoy!

I know you can actually purchase the cigar labels, but they are small in size and I would like to have them larger to frame.

Alternatively, you can purchase the labels, scan them at a high resolution (say 600 dpi), scale them to the size you want and print them at a digital printer's.
Hope this helps.
Also . . do you know where I can buy it online? Thank you for all of your help.
The green label is the limited reserve - the most desired cigar they make - made in Cuba - very high end - can be bought through a Canadian importer. good luck

SAVE THEM!
Some are valuable when in perfect condition! ESPECIALLY Cubans from the 40's and 50's!
(before the whole Michael Corleone/Hyman Roth incident...) *smiles and winks!*
My best suggestion would be to preserve them in an non invasive way... do not stick them to anything or use any kind of permanent adhesive.
a scrap book maybe? or pressed against reflective glass backed by acid free paper.
