My 11 year old son is doing a school project and he is making a steam powered rocket boat and we have it completed except for the cork. I cant find a cork anywhere except for wine bottles and I want to use something else that is similar in a corks shape except it has to fit in a tube about 2.5 inchs thick.
go to michael's or hobby lobby. they sell corks for crafts.

i dont smoke or anything i was just wondering about it. And would keeping it in one of those sealed cigar tubes keep it fresh?
yes, heat and the sun will dry out the cigar. You want to keep them in a controlled environment such as a humidor.
I listed a very cool and pretty old cigar tube for a cigar made in Cuba on EBay. Ebay removed the listing because it violated the US trade embargo. The only way I can list this item is if it was made or removed from Cuba prior to 1963. How can I figure that out? Here is a link to a website showing photos of my tube - http://members.aol.com/floydcamel/070713/CigarTube1.jpg
I think they only way to prove that it was pre-embargo is to look at the box it originally came out of. On all Cuban exports of cigars, there is a date stamp on the bottom that is meant to authenticate the cigars. It is put there by the ONLY legal distributor of authentic Cuban cigars, Habanos S.A. If that date is prior to 1963, post a photo of that on ebay also as proof. If you do not have the box, the only other thing you can do is try and find an archive which has cigar tube/box designs from the past and post a similar one along side the photo of the tube. Good luck.
would just like to know where i can find one that looks kinda like his. this happens in the beginning of the game.
-many thanks.
-edit
yeah he uses it many times. but the first time i saw him do it i had to ask and see if i could find one.

That should have some that are close.
He uses that thing like 10 times in the game by the way, not just the beginning :-D
Ibought a makers mark cigar in a sealed glass tube should i take it outta the glass tube to store in my humidor or leave it in the sealed tube
The glass tube is fine for it is storing all of it's moisture and keeping it in tact. But in long run, it will eventually dry out for there is no air circulation in the glass tube. So I would suggest put it in the humidor for it will keep and retain it's natural flavor, texture and moisture, providing that the humidor is up to par and running perfectly. If so, then it will be kept fine in the humidor.
