How do you smoke a cigar?
1 Cut the foot (the end you smoke) to your liking. Punches, V cutters, guillotine, whatever you like. If a guillotine try to cut on the mid cap (that peice of tobacco covering the foot).
2 Toast the cigar with a lighter or non sulfur match. You just slowly roll the head of the cigar over the flame (without touching it) until the end is slightly charred.
3 Put the cigar in your mouth and light it by sucking and exhaling as the lighter is in front but (not touching) the head of the cigar.
4 When the head is completely lit its ready to go. You only need to puff it about once every 30 seconds. The oils can get too hot and ruin the flavor
5 Smoke it down (never inhaling) until you no longer enjoy the flavor.
Tradition says to remove the band prior to smoking as this is a sign of pretentiousness but it doesn't matter. Do whatever you like with it.

I need a cigarette but i am out and there are a few old cigars in a draw. I dont smoke cigars, but if i smoke it will i get the nicotine i want. I know you dont inhale cigars, so wolud you have to inhale it to get the nicotine in your body, and would it taste disgusting to do this with a cigar rather than a cigarette?

although cigarettes hold far more nicotine then untreated tobacco, cigars still hold enough for your craving(hopefully).
the combbustion temperature ,although minute, controls how much nicotine is released from the cigar tobacco.
This will (hopefully) stave off your neural instinct for cigarette tobacco/nicotine.
Even if it dosn't(which it does), the oral fixation may curb your appetite!

I think http://cigar-cigars-cigar.com is an excellant place to find great stuff at a great price. Lighters, cases, cutters are all examples of cigar accessories.
In my '91 LeBaron, the cigar lighter works but a phone charger doesn't. Does the cigar lighter in a 1991 LeBaron double as an electrical outlet?
The charger works in other cars, but not in the LeBaron.
Try the charger in another vehicle - if the lighter works, 12 volt adapters should work also.
Im looking to get some cigars for my 18th birthday. What are your favorites from gas stations? Yeah i know that the best cigars come from a cigar shop with a humidor, but its my first time smoking a cigar and dont want to spend more than $2 on a one.
You are not going to get any "good" cigars at a gas station. Id recommend going to a smoke shop and just buying a good cheap single there. They have $2-5 cigars that are much better than the swishers and Games you are going to get at a gas station.
Is there some connotation to a torpedo cigar? or is it more just preference?
Torpedoes concentrate the smoke/flavor onto your palate more so than straight sided, or parejo vitolas

This 6.75×48 cigar features a dark tan oily and firm wrapper with minimal veins, tight invisible seams, double cap, a few small green splotches and a rich barnyard aroma. First light revels an excellent draw with medium-full body flavors of a dry tobacco with a bit of aged mustiness. The finish is long and the smoke output is very good with plenty of volume on the thick side. The first third brings the body down a touch to mild-medium with just a creamy textured plain tobacco flavor that carries to the finish. Construction is excellent with a perfect draw and burn. 1 hour in just past the 1/2 way point there is no change to the flavor profile. Unfortunately the band is a problem, being very thin and separating when trying to remove it. It also has a lot of glue and is secured to the wrapper, tearing it on removal. Ending it at 1:10 the rest went very hot on the side that tore open, prompting an early stop. With no further flavor changes the cigar proved to be very consistent from beginning to end, typical of a plain connecticut blend. Thank you very much to P.
