My 3-year old son got a Thomas the Train felt board for Christmas. One day, as I was cooking, he colored with black crayon on it. I have tried to clean it with a baby wipe, but I am afraid to use anything harsher in case in makes it worse. Does anyone have any suggestions?
I also think the Mr Clean erasers will work. Just keep them out of your sons reach. Good luck!

I want to be able to attach and remove cut out of felt onto a felt board. These are for children to play with Thanks
mike's right - they are supposed to stick on themselves. new felt might be too slick due to finishes - if they are not sticking, i would handwash the pieces with detergent, any temp water and air dry. rub the felt board gently with something dry and abrasive, perhaps a green dishwashing pad , or a scrub brush.
as you can probably imagine, this means that the pieces will be rough and less stiff. this is how a felt board is meant to be, though it may seem odd at first.
I want to make a fuzzy felt board and wondered why the backing boards feel coarser than the felt 'stickers'
I still have my fuzzy felts from 20 odd years ago.
the board was made with a very short pile material, not a looped pile.
the stickers were just made out of felt, (if you have a craft shop that sell do crafts products they have the right kind of felt for this - try hobbycraft or the range)
I am looking for the card or board to which felt figures adhere. I want to buy it in bulk for an educational project I am developing in Ireland.
I'm pretty sure felt clings to felt, so if you covered a "board" with felt, they should stay on, if you're not talking about actually stapling/taping them on to it.
Have a great day!
:)
I am in the process of making a flannel board for my daycare. I am having a difficult time coloring on the pieces of flannel (like the stripes on a zebra). I was using an extra-fine tip sharpie - but it was pulling the material apart. In desperation I used a dry erase marker - but the color would bleed quite a bit. Do they make special markers for this or paint? Thanks for your help!
You could try to cut out black felt to glue over the white felt. I should be easy since zebra stripes don't have a straight pattern. Good Luck
I had this experience alot because I don't know whether is question is a true or not.
when i feel board i tend to get more sleepy
