theres screws on the side but on the bottom theres this circle thing
The screws on the side are for replacing the flint and wheel. The Circle thing on the bottom is the refill port. Sometimes it is just scored so your thumb can unscrew it by pushing in and turning. Later models have either a slot for a small blade screwdriver or a Phillips.
I bought this antique lighter, its like a copper grenade and you click the pin thing and it lights, but there is somthing bugging me on the lighter. The artists initials are J.Y. and it says engraved in on the other side MADE IN S.L.P. and then a couple space over then U.S. then underneath that it says W.Z020-6. The lighter is made by swordfish. Does anybody know anything about this?
Sounds like WWII ordnance that was adapted.
Let me see what I can find.

Is there a website or anything out there where you can find out how much an old house hold objects are worth? I would like to the value of an old razor about 50 years old and some civil war confederate money. Also an old zippo lighter. thank you so much!
You might try www.kovels.com they have a fairly extensive website and might have something similar. You can also check out their books which probably will have the lighter.
