OK, so i have this dank-asss gun torch lighter that has been in my closet for like 2 years, It is a silver gun with a green flame, and today i finally seen some butane at the store and i was like, damn im gonna refill that lighter a have. I refilled it when i got home and it still works like new. Anyways, I looked on the internet and i read somewhere that torch lighters get so hot that if you smoke marijuana with one that it will burn the pot reeely fast ( sorta like dissolves it ). I wanted to know if anyone can comfirm this? is that true? ( not that i would ever do anything like that, i just wanted to know =D )

i am pretty sure it doesent ( not that i have anything to do with drugs either =D)

Green flames, red flames, and blue flames already exist. I think it would be cool to have a midnight black flame burst out of the torch lighter. but I need some help from chemistry majors who have an interest in fire.

The color you see from flame is a function of its temperature and what you are burning. Since black is the absence of color, I don't think it's possible to create a flame (which, by definition, emits visible light/colors) that is black.

A flame which didn't emit any colors would be a clear flame, not a black flame.

But if I'm wrong, and you can figure it out, I'll buy one!

Hey, I'm trying to get my brother a nice gunmetal cigar torch for x-mas since i dropped his "old" new one a few weeks ago and scratched it. (I've never seen anyone bitch so bad over a dropped lighter) So can anyone help me out?

I heard that you get more salvinorin out of it on a higher temperature, is there a difference so that it would be worth using the torch lighter instead?

That isn't true about only 10 seconds with a regular lighter. There isn't a huge difference. Technically you do activate more Salvinorin with a higher temperature so the effects should be stronger and probably will be. But using a regular lighter still works pretty effectively. I don't own a torch lighter and have had some pretty intense experiences.

when smoking salvia, you need to hold the torch lighter over the bowl constantly while inhaling.

Could you die from butane fumes?

It may depend on your tolerance to salvia. You would have two variables here - lighter time and salvia time. Narrow your testing down to only one variable and test it.
