can your refill like a zippo lighter with lighter fuel. its like a fuel and you put it on wood and light it. mine isnt a zippo but its the same thing with the cotton inside.

Yes you can just don't use too much or else it won't work and it's a waste because it evaporates anyways.

You have to be 18 in the U.S. to buy any type of lighter and lighter fluid.

I have a lighter I stole from some freshman at my school and I'm pretty sure its out of fluid because when I try to light it, all I get is a spark. How do you refill a zippo lighter?

pull it out of the case, there should be a sponge like thing on the bottom, this is were you put the fluid it will obsorb the fluid, dont over fill or it will spill whn you put it back in the case

Two simple questions.

1) How many ounces or mL of lighter fluid can a standard zippo lighter hold?

2) In a standard capacity zippo lighter, burning standard zippo lighter fluid, how long will it burn for or last? Meaning if i were to take a filled lighter, opened it, and left it burning, how long could it burn for?

The lighter holds about 1/2 an ounce of fluid...and can be lit about 100- 150 times if you keep it lit for about 5 seconds so.... You would be able to keep it lit for about 8 - 12 minutes... But I do not reccomend this as the lighter could get hot and blowup...

I live in a small town away from any stores that retail zippo lighter fluid but there is a dollar store that sells non zippo brand lighter fluid in 4.5 oz cans... Should i go out of my way and drive to town (1h 45mins) to get zippo premium lighter fluid or just buy the non zippo stuff?

You can use non zippo fluid in your zippo lighter but I so not recommend it. There will be a noticeable difference in efficiency of your lighter. If you look around you may be surprised where you can find the fluid. Try Walmart, or a local gas station.

I bought a zippo lighter for just 3$ and it looks pretty original, but I don't think so. For example you can even see the ritten on the bottom of the lighter that says: ZIPPO BRADFORD.PA.MADE IN U.S.A. So is it realy original?

it's not original. zippo lighters were originated and made in Hensville, TN. any other places are fakes, they're afraid of getting sued if they make it too much like the original.

I have a regular zippo lighter and after i just filled it and put in a new flint it works fine. But when i step outside the lighter will not light at all.

try pulling the wick up a little bit...sometimes they need adjustment...(and trim it with a pair of nail clippers so the end isn't frayed)
