It doesn't say on the bottom!

Yes, just dry them with a towel when the dishwasher stops. This will keep them from rusting.

Christmas Pinwheels

Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Cookies
1/4 cup (1/2 stick) margarine, at room temperature
3/4 cup sugar
1/2 cup chunky peanut butter
Dry sugar substitute equal to 1/4 cup sugar (optional)
1/3 cup egg whites
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/4 cup water
1-1/2 cups all-purpose flour
3/4 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup semisweet chocolate chips

Heat oven to 350° F. Cream margarine, sugar, peanut butter and dry sugar substitute (if using) together at medium speed until light and fluffy. Add egg whites, vanilla and water and mix at medium speed for 30 seconds, scraping down bowl before and after adding these ingredients. Stir flour, baking soda, salt and chocolate chips together to blend well (don't break up chips). Add to creamed mixture and mix to blend.

Spray cookie sheets with vegetable cooking spray, or line with aluminum foil. Drop dough by 1 1/2 tablespoonfuls onto cookie sheets. Bake 10 to 12 minutes, or until cookies are lightly browned. Leave on sheets 3 to 4 minutes, then remove cookies to wire rack and cool to room temperature.

Yield: 24 cookies

Looking for cookie ideas for christmas tins?
And Another...

I'm baking cookies this year to mail to relatives for the holidays. I want to send a nice variety and I'm looking for ideas of different cookies. Of course, I'll include choc chip and peanut butter kiss cookies, but I'm looking for something new to try. Any creative ideas out there?? I will be mixing the different cookies in the tins, so I need recipes for cookies that will store well with other types of cookies. Thanks for any ideas!

This is the BEST Christmas Cookie recipe EVER!

Christmas Cookies

1 cup of water
1 tsp baking soda
1 cup of sugar
1 tsp salt
1 cup of brown sugar
Lemon juice
4 large eggs
1 cup nuts
2 cups of dried fruit
1 bottle Patron Silver Tequila

Sample the Patron to check quality.

Take a large bowl, check the Patron again to be sure it is of the highest quality, pour one level cup and drink. Better if chilled first.

Turn on the electric mixer. Beat one cup of butter in a large fluffy bowl.

Add one teaspoon of sugar. Beat again.

At this point it's best to make sure the Patron is still OK, try another
chilled cup just in case.

Turn off the mixerer thingy. Break 2 leggs and add to the bowl and chuck in the cup of dried fruit.

Pick the frigging fruit off floor. Mix on the turner. If the fried druit gets stuck in the beaterers just pry it loose with a drewscriver.

Sample the Patron to check for tonsisticity.

Next, sift two cups of salt, or something. Check the Patron.

Now shift the lemon juice and strain your nuts.

Add one table. Add a spoon of sugar, or somefink. Whatever you can find.

Greash the oven. Turn the cake tin 360 degrees and try not to fall over. Don't forget to bean off the turner.

Finally, throw the bowl through the window, finish the Patron and make sure to put the stove in the dishwasher.

Would you be offended if you got a cookie tin full of cookies as a christmas present?
Holiday Cookie Tin

My husbands aunt who never gives me presents gave me one this year. I really don't care for presents because growing up we never celebrated christmas. I waited and opened it and it was a big tin of cookies?? I told my daughter,"Hey look at what YOU got and she jumped up and down and said cookies!!" It was so cute she was walking around telling everybody Santa said they can have cookies..

Anyhow this woman never liked me before I was married she was very mean to me even went as far as to pushing me once.
Now that I'm married to her nephew I don't care for the woman I got tired of her bullying me so I said finally," OK I'll give you a reason to be upset now" So I fired back when she would say stuff I don't aknowledge her presence (she used to ignore me when I was just getting to know the family)

So anyhow that present just annoyed me!! but then again everything about her annoys me
She's trying very hard to be friendly with me now I can't stand it. When we were married she told my husband bring her to the house she's family now. I said,"Who is she to say this, I marrie you not her old ass."

i would love to get cookies, that would not bother me. i would be annoyed though if i got a present from someone i disliked so much.

Your Questions About Chocolate Gifts Under 10

Nancy asks…

Name idea for chocolate truffles secret santa gift?

This year we are doing Secret Santa at work and I came up with a theme. Each day we give a gift of under $2 for 4 days and the 5th day is a $10 limit.

Day 1: “Elf Pillows” wrapped mints
Day 2: “Reindeer Noses” chocolate covered raisins and red hots
Day 3: “Snowman Poops” marshmallows
Day 4: “Bag of Coal” black jelly beans

Day 5 I was planning to give chocolate truffles but could not think of a name to go along with the theme. Does any one have any ideas?

Jen answers:

Chimney bricks? Stocking Stuffers? Or what about putting little frosting ribbons on them and calling them Santa’s Gift?

Idea for Christmas treats as gifts?

Every year, I always make my friends and family some kind of goody for Christmas and put it in a pretty Christmas tin as gift. In the past, I’ve made fudge, cookies, chocolate covered pretzels, and muddy buddies, among other things, and I’m looking for something different this year. I’m good at baking, but I’d like some recipes that don’t involve a lot of time, since I have a lot to make – I’m giving these tins to 19 people :)

There’s one more thing: I’m really short on money right now, so the less stuff I have to buy the better. Ultimately, I’d like to spend under 10 dollars total, since I’ve...
