There are several types of trim made just for this purpose. Not knowing how your roof is configured, or the type/brand of tin roof you have bought, it is not possible to give you a very specific answer. My best advice is to revisit the place you bought the corrugated tin roof panels and have a look at the trim pieces that the manufacturer has available. The retailer should be able to recommend the correct pieces.

Any lumber yard can get that for you, its just galvenized metal roofing. Depending on what you are going to do with it... the cost is usually around 30-50 a square!
Is there a place online to purchase rolls of 20" metal roofing for a standing seam metal roof on a historic house? Every supplier I've tried to inquire purchasing from locally requires you to have a contractors license.

you should be able to get it from home depot,lowes,84 lumber.im in maryland and thats where we get it.if that doesnt work try looking up metal or tin roofing web sites.
Make sure the first sheet is square with the eave or ridge line. If the roof isn't square to start with there isn't much you can do except try to move each sheet a bit on one end of the side overlap. Corrugated roofing is more forgiving in this respect than the v type.

I have already purchased it and some rubber washer nails. Should it be nailed on the V for best results and no leaks?
Nail through the top of the V. Tap the top of the V with the edge of your hammer head to put a small dent in the top of the ridge so you can start your nails without the nail slipping off the ridge and beating up your fingers. Also don't nail the ridge that will be overlapped by the next sheet, Nail through both sheets when you have it in place, Good luck
